Sender Management allows you to control the “To” and “From” emails for all outgoing email communications. You can choose to have a variety of email identities in which to send your email from.
How to Create a New Sender
Follow the instructions below to Create a New Sender.
Step 1
1.1 Navigate to the Communications section of the Clutch Portal.
1.2 Navigate to Sender Management.
1.3 Click the + New Sender button.
Step 2
2.1 Fill in the information for your Sender.
Some important fields to note:
Sender Identity: This is the label you choose to identify your Sender- your customer will not see this name.
From Name: This is the name your customers will see saying who the email is “from”.
From Email: This is the email address your customers will see saying who the email is “from”.
Reply to Email: This is the email the customer will see if they reply to the email sent by your Sender. This is usually the same email as the “From Email”, but it does not have to be.
Location: Designate a location that the Sender should be associated with. Depending on how your brand is set up, this may be left blank.
2.2 Click the Create button.
How to Edit a Sender
Follow the instructions below to Edit a Sender.
Step 1
1.1 Navigate to the Communications section of Clutch Portal.
1.2 Navigate to the Sender Management tab.
1.3 Find the Sender you wish to edit. Click the Pencil icon next to the Sender.
Step 2
Click the field/s you wish to edit and type in what you wish to change. When you’re done, click the Save button.
How to Archive a Sender
Follow the instructions below to Archive a Sender.
Step 1
1.1 Navigate to the Communications section of Clutch Portal.
1.2 Navigate to the Sender Management tab.
1.3 Find the Sender you wish to archive. Click the Pencil icon next to the Sender.
Step 2
2.1 Scroll down to the bottom of the form where it says “Archive Sender”. Check the box. Note that if the Sender is Set as the Default Sender Identity, you will be unable to archive the Sender.
2.2 Click Save.
Step 3
3.1 You will be returned to the Sender Management page. To see Archived Senders, click the check box that says “Show archived only”. This will bring up all archived senders.
