Sending an email using the Drag n’ Drop WYSIWYG editor is very similar to the previous scheduled email flow you can find here. The only part that has changed is the “Compose” section. To send a scheduled email using the new editor, follow the first two steps here, then follow the steps below.
Step 1
1.1 Select a name for your email. This is only for internal use and will not be seen by your recipients. You also have the option to input a campaign name, source name and medium.
1.2 Click the Compose Email button to continue.
Step 2
2.1 Select a Sender (who the email will come from).
2.2 Create the Subject of the email.
2.3 Enter the Preview Text to introduce the content the recipient will find within the message.
2.4 (optional) By selecting a template, your email body will be populated with content. You can make any adjustments to the content.
2.5 (optional) Once you complete your message, Clutch recommends sending a test message (see how here)
2.6 This is where you build your page. As you drag content to the body, you will begin to customize your message.
2.7 Add Content Blocks (see more here) to your email body
2.8 Select View HTML Source, to look at the HTML for you email body. You can copy the HTML to the clipboard.
2.9 The toolbar on the right allows you to switch between the Content (see here) and the Email Body, where you can configure the background color, determine the content width, and decide the font family.
2.10 (optional) Using the action bar on the bottom left, you can view your email as both a desktop and mobile preview. This action bar also features undo and redo buttons.
Once you complete your email body, continue adding recipients and scheduling your email here.
