How do I test a Scheduled Email?

Step 1

1.1. Make sure you are at the Compose Email screen (you will arrive at this while creating or editing an email).
1.2  Select Send Test Email.

Step 2

You can send a test email in two ways- to individual emails or to a test list. Clutch recommends testing your email through a test list as best practice to view their full customer experience. When a test is sent to a test list, the merge variables populate.

2.1. Test List: Select a test list to send your email to. Click the corresponding Send Test button when done. Sending a test will automatically save your latest email. When sending to a test list, any merge variables in the email body will be filled in with test data associated with the accounts on the list.

2.2 Test Individual Emails: Input an individual email or emails to send to. Click the corresponding Send Test button when done. When sending to email addresses, separate email addresses you wish to send to using commas. Any merge variables in the email body will be left blank.
