Using Coupons in a Scheduled Email

Step 1
1.1 Use the WYSIWYG editor to create your email. To learn more about our WYSIWYG editor, you can read the article here.
1.2 Click the “Link to Promotion” button.

Step 2
2.1 Select a promotion you would like to use. For this example, we’ll choose Coupon.
2.2 Choose which Coupon you would like to include in your email. Only active coupons will appear. If you need help creating a coupon, read the article here.
2.3 Choose how the Merge Variable will be displayed. You can select the URL simply the Merge Variable code.
2.4 View your Generated Merge Variable.
2.5 Click the Copy to Clipboard button to copy your Merge Variable.
2.6 Close the pop-up.

Step 3
3.1 You can now paste your Merge Variable into your Scheduled Email. When customers follow the link provided, it will display your Coupon. You have flexibility on how you can use this variable. You can paste it directly into your email, or embed the link in selected text, buttons or images, etc.
