How to Add a Segment to a Reporting Dashboard

After creating a segment, you can decide to make the segment viewable under the reporting dashboard. For example, if you have a segment called “Females, age 18-24” and send a scheduled email to all females, if you choose to show the segment in the reporting dashboard, you will be able view a report for both the entire email and for your specific segment. If you do not have the segment selected to show on dashboard, then you will not have this option. To turn on this feature, follow the steps below.

Step 1:

1.1 Navigate to the Segmentation in Clutch Portal.
1.2 Navigate to the Customer tab.
1.3 Navigate to the Shared tab.
1.4 Select the Edit button for the desired segment.

Step 2:

2.1 Once in the segment, find the Dashboard dropdown. Select Yes to be able to view the segment in reports.
2.2 Click Save and Exit.

Step 3:

3.1 Navigate to Scheduled under the Email section of the Communications tab of Clutch Portal.
3.2 Find the email you want to view. Under the Actions tab, select View Email Metrics.

Step 4

4.1 You can now view data for the segment you chose within the dashboard.
4.2 Review the report on your segment.
