SKUs are managed in the Clutch platform via either uploading through the Client Portal, or via automated batch jobs that import SKU and overall Catalog updates on a scheduled basis. Once loaded, SKUs can be individually managed via the SKU management tool in the Portal. Most importantly, they can then be used as filters within the Campaign Management tool and Segment Tool to drive highly targeted campaigns with you customers, and segment and report on the success of these campaigns.
From and API perspective, SKUs are passed in as part of a Checkout API call as part of the overall purchase data.
