Logging into Clutch using a Hardware Token

Enabling Hardware Authenticators is one way to better protect your account. Some popular hardware authenticators include Apple Touch ID, Window Hello, and YubiKeys.

Step 1
Navigate to the top right-hand corner of the screen to the menu under your brand. Click on “My Account”.

Step 2
Enter your username and password for your Clutch account.

Step 3
You will be given the option to continue sign-in using the Google Authenticator App or your Hardware Key. Click the button Use Hardware Key.

Step 4
You will be prompted to activate your Hardware Key. Be sure to allow Clutch to see your security key.

This activation may vary based on the type of Hardware Authenticator you have. Some require a button to be pressed on your device while others may require a fingerprint scan or facial recognition. Please read and understand the instructions for your specific hardware token.

Once the hardware token activates successfully, you will be logged into the Clutch software.
