Bulk issuance is the act of adding value to a specified range of physical gift cards with the same amount at the same time. Digital gift cards do not currently apply.
Card ID and sequence number from the first card and the last card are entered, allowing the correct range of cards identified to have the desired balance stored on them. External Reference IDs can also be added. The end result is that all selected physical cards are issued with the defined value.
Clutch also provides safeguards within the card generation tool to help ensure that information is entered correctly, such as checks for card count and sequences match. For example, if you want to enter 50 cards, but 57 were found in the range you provided, an error will appear.
