Communication Tags

Communication tags allow marketers to identify messages by type or other attributes to help enhance reporting capabilities. By tagging and grouping similar messages, you can analyze how categories of messages are doing as a whole.

Communication tags appear in both email and mobile messages and the same tags can be used for both channels to enhance your reporting groups even more. Messages can be tagged using any category system or hierarchy.  Some examples include ‘Marketing Email’, ‘Response to Action Communication, ‘Reward Email’, etc. 

Tags are case insensitive, spaces are allowed and hitting, ‘Enter’ will separate tags. 

Method 1: Editing within the Communication
When creating or working within the communication, you’ll see a header labelled Communication Tags. Tags can be added and/or removed here.

Method 2: Editing Using Table View
While viewing a communications table for mobile or email, you’ll see a tag icon on the far right of the message. If you click this icon, a window will pop up where you can input your tags. You can also remove tags here if needed. Once you’re done, click ‘Save’.
