All exploitable Hosted Microsites at Clutch, supportĀ Fraud Protection by means of Google’s reCaptcha. By default, this protection is enabled for Member Portal, Balance Checker, Enrollment and Refer a Friend. This means that for any of these hosted sites, the user will be required to completeĀ the “I am not a robot” box requirements before submitting any of the public forms, where a user does not not need to login beforehand. When checking this box, the reCaptcha plugin verifies whether the user is a bot or not, using state of the art bot detection algorithms. If the reCaptcha is not sure whether the user is a bot or not, it will present a small and simple test for the user to solve. This can for instance happen if you submit the same form multiple times, or if you are operating from an untrusted host. These tests are presented in a few different ways, which makes it difficult for bots to identify. This diverse and robust fraud protection can be offered while maintaining the ease of use for the user.
